Troubleshooting Steps

The Jaybird X2 does not have reset functionality like other headphones, but you can achieve the same thing by turning the headphones off and pushing the center button for more than 4 seconds. Then repeat the steps above. Also make sure that you’re within 3 feet (or 1 meter) of the device you are trying to pair with. If you’re still facing difficulty, restart the device you are trying to connect your Jaybird X2 device to.

Also keep in mind that the Jaybird X2 and your paired device will remember its pairing settings unless those settings are deleted. However, the Jaybird X2 can remember a maximum of 8 devices, so if you pair a 9th device, then the oldest pairing information will be forgotten. So keep in mind while pairing that if you have many connected devices, its possible that the oldest one may be inadvertently dropped.
